Position Summary
Rockwell Automation\xe2\x80\x99s Sensing, Safety and Industrial Components Business is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to be a significant contributor to a next generation product development team of software engineers focusing on development of Add-on Profiles for embedded communication and control modules. The position requires the proven ability to work with product management and software developers and testers to support product development and execute through the entire development cycle. Accepted candidates will become part of the newly created engineering team in Pune.

Principal Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software development environment, including CI/CD system for Microsoft technology stack software.
• Participate in the design and development of new architectures and frameworks for scalable product platforms.
• Interact and collaborate on products and projects with a team of engineers located in the US, Europe, and Asia.
• Initial responsibility includes support for Microsoft technology stack project migration from other locations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or, Computer Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance of software development ecosystem
• Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience in software development in Microsoft tool ecosystem
• Hands-on experience in integrating 3rd party platforms like Gitlab, Coverity, Black Duck, JFrog, etc. with the CI / CD pipeline.
• Good in computer networking.

Good To Have

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance of software development ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud solutions
• Hands-on experience on Windows, Linux and YAML scripting.
• Ability and/or willingness to work with emulators and hardware tools.
• Understanding of RS-232, USB, Ethernet, and packet-based communication protocols
• Experience with standard version control systems
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation controllers and software tools
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
