Job descriptionTo support Product care activities as a part of a Technical Support Group team at Atlas Copco GECIA. This role is to provide engineering support to various Atlas Copco product companies.Mission:
To support and act as an active team member of the Technical Support Group team for handling Product care activities. You should have very high affinity towards problem solving and providing technical support. You should be very interested and innovative to be able to provide quick and accurate technical solutions.Roles & Responsibilities: * Handle product care projects/tasks.

• Provide technical solutions to handle modification requests from Quality, Methods, Production and Marketing teams.
• Apply techniques such as VAVE, 8D analysis, DFM and DFA to provide high quality and innovative solutions.
• Provide solutions to field problems and to support retrofitting activities.
• Create or modify concept designs.
• Create or update technical documents.
• Handle engineering change management activities like CA/CO and DN.
• Communicate with overseas teams on a regular basis.
• Maintain planning and status sheets of product care activities.
• Estimate amount of efforts required for a task.
• Attend meetings with cross function teams, arrange & assist tests and arrange prototyping at local product company.
• Record learnings and help to create training documents

To succeed, you will needEducational requirements/Experience requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3-5 years of experience.
• Should have basic knowledge of Air Compressors and air treatment.
• Knowledge about Design of Skid packages for compressor would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Sheet metal, Piping design, Flange selection, heavy fabrication.
• Experience of working on CAD software like Inventor & PLM system Enovia etc.
• Knowledge of BOM generation, working on ERP system.
• Knowledge of Ms office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, etc
• Good written & verbal communication in English is must.

• Good communication skills in English.
• Good in interpersonal skills including self-starter and positive approach.
• Should be customer focused.
• Should be a team player with learning attitude.
• Capable of working under time pressure to respect deadlines

• Strong technical acumen and application knowledge
