Position:- Engineer RD & Engg

No of Positions - 2

Qualification - Mechanical Engineering

Experience required- Minimum 5-6 years in Compressor field Engineering and RD department

Skills required - MS office, Auto-CAD must, Solid-Edge -optional

CTC Budget - Negotiable

• Job descriptions:-
• To understand the requirement from sales& Marketing, customers demand with respect to our product portfolio
• Preparation and revision of required drawings in AutoCAD,
• Prepare part numbers in ERP
• Prepare BOM, Technical spec, Parts manual etc.,
• Manage ERN & ECN activity about issuance of new part/product and revision of drawings/TDS etc., respectively
• Preparation of SOP and required formats for all process
• Support to marketing team in Tender and customized orders demand activity through providing required technical data, drawings etc.,
• Communication with RD team of FS group about new products, revisions, technical data verification before adopting into our process etc.,
• Supplier assessment and audit while developing new vendors for new or existing parts as part of regular process, localisation activity & for customised orders
• To do development of new product as per the requirement from management, sales & marketing
• To be part of continual improvement in shopfloor process to reduce the quality issues and reduction in process time
• To support quality team for analysis of parts failed in process, products at customer site
• To get the quote for required parts after technical discussion with suppliers for pre-sales activity for Tender and customised orders
• To prepare, modify and maintain QMS document and process related to RD & Engg department
• To communicate with supplier about technical issues to support Quality and purchase team
• Should have good knowledge for design and drawing of following points,
• Design and drawing of Pressure vessels as IS, ASME & CE standards
• Design and drawing of Air, Oil coolers (Combi Coolers)
• Design, drawing and technical knowledge of Air dryers and Filters
• Design and drawing of Enclosures, Fabrication of metallic parts
• Good knowledge of selection and usage of Induction motors
• Good knowledge of variable speed drives used in compressors, Pumps, cranes etc., and also knowledge of Soft starters
