• Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and identify potential quality issues.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new code does not adversely impact existing functionality.
• Analyze test results, generate quality metrics, and report on software quality status to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and project planning sessions to ensure quality is embedded in all phases.
• Continuously research and implement new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Proficiency in software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Karate, Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG) and frameworks.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.
