Job Role (title): Purchase EngineerDepartment: Underground DivisionNote: The job title may vary, depending upon the years of experience and internal parity.\xc2\xb7 Mission: This position will have responsibility to coordinate with key suppliers, monitor KPI:s from suppliers such as delivery precision, lead time performance and lead-time accuracy. Ensure supply by providing the forecast to the suppliers, take ownership of on time part availability, Knowledge of Import & Export is must.Job description\xc2\xb7 Knowledge & understanding of EXIM and customs related activities.\xc2\xb7 Experience in handling global suppliers.\xc2\xb7 Organize supplier co-planning meetings to assure capacity of supply at key suppliers in global demand planning forecasts .\xc2\xb7 Ownership of delivery precision from suppliers.\xc2\xb7 Sign, follow up (maintain) and keep total ownership of parts to be arranged on time for production.\xc2\xb7 Support forecast accuracy improvement activities & understanding of BOM structure.\xc2\xb7 Monitor supplier performance KPIs and drive improvement activities to reduce lead times, improve delivery performance and support quality improvements.\xc2\xb7 Support improvements of the supply flow to ensure we source in the right region based on country of origin and demand with zero shortage & on time delivery.\xc2\xb7 Oversee packaging optimization activities linked to transportation, storage, and handling - Supplier and Epiroc in coordination with internal CFT team.\xc2\xb7 Educate suppliers on how delivery performance is measured and how orders are handled at suppliers i.e., POs, emails, confirmations.\xc2\xb7 Provide inputs into MOQ and order multiple optimizations from supplier.\xc2\xb7 Should be Agile,Quick learner with Problem solving attitude.\xc2\xb7 Able to work with CFT..Education and experience\xc2\xa7 Degree in supply chain, operations, or related degree.\xc2\xa7 Experience in the global supply chain and part procurement.\xc2\xa7 Experience in end-to-end supply chain management, inventory management, and project management.\xc2\xa7 Ability to develop supplier relationships.\xc2\xa7 Strong analytical skills\xc2\xa7 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point,Power BI\xc2\xa7 Prior experience working with MRP tools a plus.\xc2\xa7 Strong English communication skill both verbal and written.
