Position Overview

Job Title: Senior Developer (Python) Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President Location: Pune, India Role Description A technology-oriented senior developer is needed to join the RiskFinder Labs team within the Risk Technology space, to assist with the implementation of our strategic regulatory risk reporting platform to meet regulatory requirements including Fundamental Review of the Trading Book and Stress Testing across all asset classes in the firm. You will be a developer with strong core application skills, and good exposure to concepts and/or technology across the broader spectrum. You will be responsible for a complex technology stack, including modern Python, Hadoop/Spark, and a React/TypeScript UX on both cloud and on-premises. Your key responsibilities

• You will be implementing new reporting solutions to business requirements as a feature-team developer under SAFE (Scaled Agile methodology)
• You will be contributing to component-level solution design
• You will be helping to estimate and break down development tasks for planning
• You will help drive platform migration onto cloud
• Use broad systems knowledge to push extreme deployment and test automation
• You will be mentoring junior members of the team and helping to execute our training strategy

Your skills and experience

• Strong knowledge in Python.
• Helpful to have experience in a compiled language e.g. Java/C++
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Some proficiency in SQL (PL/SQL), data modelling, Big Data, NoSQL, Strong UNIX, Linux knowledge
• Exposure to some of Hadoop, Scala, Impala, Spark, Kafka, Avro, Google Protocol Buffers
