:Job PurposeMonitor, implement and control production activities so as to achieve targeted production of particular VAP product in all shifts while meeting optimum levels of safety, quality and cost controlsJob Context & Major ChallengesPhosphoric acid by using IMI process is an unique process itself which has the so many of limitations as it is a very sophisticated process & highly sensitive process. In India we are the oldest manufacturer of technical grade phosphoric acid & having the market share of around 40 % .Apart from technical grade phosphoric acid we are also manufacturing food grade phosphoric acid & we are the only producer of this product in India.Our phosphoric acid manufacturing process not only generates valuable money from the market but also helps our caustic plant to run continuously as HCl is the major raw material for our phosphoric acid manufacturing process .Hence this process helps itself to generate fund as well as helps to grow caustic plant.By looking the present demand of phosphoric acid & that too particularly in food grade segment we are going to expand this present capacity of food grade plant &also in a new method which is having very much energy saving approach.Major Challenges:1. Process is very sensitive in nature so hence utmost care is required to maintain all process parameter, also having more realibility only on one source for rock phosphate is a major threat.2.In the calcium phosphate sector,every customers requires the product as per their own specification which is over &above the general standards posses the great challenges.
3.To maintain the critical parameters within specified limits to achieve optimum auxiliary power consumption, optimum chemical consumption, increase the life of process equipments.4.Maintaining the food grade standards (working environment ) is a major challenge for us as our unit is a chemical unit which generates corrosive atmosphere all around.5.As this is a solid handling plant ,controlling the powder particle emission as per KSPCB guidelines is another challenge.Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters)
KRA1 1.Production/Operations:
Ensure smooth operation of the VAP plant by maintain all control parameters 1.Ensure maintenance of all the process parameters of VAP Production and manage activities of shift workers
2.Maintain critical parameters and monitor any deviations
3.Acknowledge and take corrective actions on deviation alarms in coordination field engineers
4.Ensure plant operation as per SOP
5.Ensure plant start up and stoppage as per checklist
KRA2 1.Production/Operations:
Ensure smooth operation of the VAP plant by maintain all control parameters 6.Prompt actions on deviations to avoid plant tripping
7.Arrange for proper and timely dispatches of goods
8.Implementation of SOP check sheet for incoming material, bags
9.Supervise the people and impart training on functional job
10.Handing of finished product and upkeepment of product
KRA3 2.Product Quality
Maintain quality of the product so as to meet customer requirements 1.Maintain process and quality parameters strictly
2.Maintain process parameters to meet customers quality requirements
3.Quickly switchover parameters during load variations to ensure product quality
4.Product identification and traceability
KRA4 3.Cost Control
Control cost of production to achieve production within budgeted cost 1.Maintain stringent control on process parameters
2.Timely control deviations from SOPs for optimization of chemical consumption
3.Ensure running equipment at optimal value
4.Control any idle running of equipment
5.Check consumption of raw materials, packing material and utilities within target
KRA5 4.System Management (Safety, Sustainability & WCM):
Adhere to safety & statutory environmental requirements 1.Strictly adhere to safety norms & safe operational procedures
2.Strictly adhere to OHSAS & SA 8000 norms
3.Implement IMS, WCM and sustainability practices
4.Handle emergency situations like Liquid Chlorine leakages etc. under Disaster Management activities
KRA6 4.System Management (Safety, Sustainability & WCM):
Adhere to safety & statutory environmental requirements 5.Train the team to comply with these norms
6.Maintain process systems having zero effluent and zero accident
7.Participate and own the equipment and process
8.Impart functional training to people/contractor
KRA7 5.Customer Service
Follow directives and meet customer needs 1.Meet internal and external customer needs & take timely action on the same
2.Make final product dispatch as per customer requirement
3.Implementation of suggestion/feed back from customer redressal system
