Job Description
Position: EngineerRelevant Experience:8 to 10 years for BE,10 to 12 years for Diploma in Automobile/Auto Ancillary or Engineering field.JOB PURPOSEThe role demands supervision and achievement of Safety, Quality, Cost and Time related objectives of the assigned zone.As part of the Core function the role is integral to carryout management roles in transforming set KPI\xe2\x80\x99s to key improvements and executing the same to achieve shop objectives.MAJOR ACTIVITIESShop Floor Management:To identify gaps and improvements in set processes.Ensure standards adherence as per SQCT requirement.To maintain and update relevant shop floor documents, data\xe2\x80\x99s and check sheets as per DMD.Productivity & OEE:Skill and Attendance management on daily basis.Breakdown reduction through OEE review.Identify bottlenecks and improve job allocation.Carry out kaizen to achieve DSTR.TQM & Quality Control:To perform analysis and put in place countermeasures.Proactively identify risk factors and eliminate them.Maintain and review zone quality performance.Identify poka yoke for defect prevention.Quick analysis of Quality issues and fix Counter measure.Execution of Training of the respective team.Execution of TPM in respective zone.Follow ISO 9001, ISO 14001 standards as per Company Policy.Chennai India
