Job Summary: Production supervisor with two to five years of experience in machine shop operations involving CNC machining with the ability to manage shop floor employees and accommodate technical queries related to the daily machining requirements. Must-Have Skills: Reading Engineering Drawings Proficiency in Machining cycles used in programming Tool setting, job setting, machine operation Strong Communication Analytical Skills Nice to Have: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools Excel, PowerPoint CAM Software for machining Roles Responsibilities: Review the operation of the shop to monitor production and quality and identify opportunities for improvement. Create, maintain and update operating procedures and training manuals for production process operations. Plan, prioritize, and assign the work of staff responsible for providing production services. Communicate regularly with all production process operators to ensure consistent operation among the shifts. Work with employees to correct deficiencies and implement discipline procedures. Prepare and maintain adequate records on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, of production variables namely production volume, yield, plant uptime, utility consumption, etc. Prepare and monitor various production records on operations and activities and documentation according to guidelines in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain records for material, equipment, and time usage. Ensure that safety and government regulations relating to process operations are always met. Communicate with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental rules and regulations.
