About this opportunity The purpose of this document is to describe the Functional Role (FR) of the OSS Engineer within the Managed Services. . What you will do Ensuring a smooth operation of the GSM specific OSS Be part of team managing specific OSS activities associated with Mobility GSM Network Managing System Administration Function, involving: Configuration, Up gradation & Patching of SUN and HP servers, Linux Servers Disk Space Management, User Creation and Group Management. Daily Bases Health Checkup of OSS Server Backup and recovery. Troubleshooting issues on daily basis. System Performance Monitoring. Regular disk space monitoring, working on alerts, log file monitoring. Performed new node Definition of Network elements like BSC, TRC, HLR, SGSN, MGW, Blade cluster, IN Nodes, RNC in ENM, OSSRC, NetAct, M2000/U2000,U2020, PRIME, ZTE, SAM STATS Definition of Network elements like BSCs, TRC\'s, MSC\'s, HLR and MGW\'s in Ericsson OSS and Fetching STATS Reports using Unix Commands. Ensuring 99% uptime of NMS for Alarm and Performance Management. Having a Good knowledge of GSM Architecture, Call flows Specialist in handling the project operation for O&M. Co-ordination with various issues regarding Creating & verifying the BSC database like site creation, routing database handover, GPRS enabling cell info & daily report. Counter activation Through M2000 Scanner\'s activation in MGW and SGSN node and also troubleshooting. You will bring Good Technical Knowledge of the specific OSS Engineer for Mobile Communication. Understanding of all Processes, routines Degree within / Telecommunication Engineering / Computer Science /Computer Engineering, MCA etc. Have 3 years of experience as a System Engineer in a mobile network environment, Knowledge of GSM & LTE Knowledge of Linux.
