Your role

We are looking for:

• mainframe Developer is responsible for liaising between various Business and IT streams to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to iterative exploration and documentation of business rules enabling high volume data processing
• develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high volume data processing in partnership with business and stakeholders
• implement mainframe projects through all SDLC phases (Functional and non-functional requirements gathering, analysis, estimation, build, unit testing, SIT(System and Integration testing), Regression testing, pre and post implementation support)
• collaborate with different teams like Application Development teams, QA, Business Analysts, Business, Operations teams, DBAs etc.
• experience in DB2 load/unload process, SQL queries to extract data for reporting and understand AS-IS business process flows and make changes as per requirements
• identify opportunities to improve our processes and contribute to defining standards. Translate business requirements into technical documentation

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working in the GWM Operations Americas IT team in Pune, India. We provide quality, innovative solutions that support our business partners in achieving their goals.
Your expertise

• ideally 3+ years of experience in Financial sector
• primary Technical Skills: COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, DB2 Stored procedures, SORT, MQ series, Changeman/Endevor, Tracemaster, Insync/FILEAID, Spufi
• good to have: IBM Idz, IBM Data Studio
• have prior experience on Mainframe production support, SQL performance optimization & DB2 Stored procedures development/debug
• strong diplomatic, analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
• proactive, comfortable working in dynamic environments with fast-paced deliveries and changing requirements
