The Position Engineer - Mechanical Maintenance

Job Summary

The position holder is responsible for the upkeep machine health by proper planning and development of the preventive maintenance schedule and its proper execution as per the laid safety standards of the group.

To carry out preventive, breakdown, predictive and corrective maintenance / Utilities activities as per schedule.

Interdepartmental Coordination

Maintenance of Stationary & Rotating Equipment like: Wet grinders, Filtrations Equipments(Vibro Screens and Centrifuges),Horizontal Pumps, Vertical Pumps, Conveyor Belts, RO Plant, ETP Plant, Agitators, Crusher, Blowers, Centrifugal fan, bag filter, bucket elevators, cooling towers, etc.

Introduce continuous improvement practices to boost the Plant productivity.

Project planning & its execution as per Imerys safety standard.

Knowledge of Safety system and working environment.

Knowledge of Spare management- PR/PO and follow-ups

Knowledge of budget preparation & its monitoring.

In depth plant & machine knowledge and hand on experience.

Coordination and collaboration between electrical and instrumentation departments

Coordination with Projects team for upcoming new projects

Familiar with electrical maintenance

Responsible to adhere to the safety standards of Imerys and ensure that they are followed by others

Provide technical support to identify, investigate and solve mechanical / electrical operating and operability of the facility.

Coordinate, schedule, and review all plant safety and reliability inspections.

Plan, design and execute necessary repairs and/or modifications to resolve discrepancies identified by the Corporate Inspection Program.

Develop and maintain the following equipment documentation; description, spare parts, equipment lists, histories, manuals, flow sheet; documentation, drawings, etc. This is done to ensure the continued reliability of the plant.

Plan, develop and initiate the scope and priority for special maintenance work such as annual plant shutdowns.

Participate in the facility\xe2\x80\x99s Process Safety Audit Team. Develop and initiate changes to correct discrepancies as required.

To do repair and maintenance of plant equipment. To do plant checking while running. Make sure plant equipment is working in safe condition

Skills Required:

2-3 yrs for BE Mechanical and 4-5 yrs with Diploma.

Knowledge of Minerals Industry, Chemicals, Ceramics, and Cement

Team handling experience

A proven record of adaptability to Safety culture.

Fluent in English, Hindi language
