Duties:
As a Mechanical Engineer Level I, He will be working in the fast-paced engineering environment working on creating the 3D models, Assemblies. Engineer should have hands on experience in application of GD&T as per ASME Y 14.5, Tolerance Stack up Analysis & Methods. Follow the client standards and deliver the quality files. Knowledge of EPDM check in/outs, Data Cards and ERP exposure is required.

Responsibilities:

• Design complete custom parts and assemblies using Solidworks and/ or AutoCAD software. This will include 3D mechanical design, electrical, layout functionality, etc
• Perform structural analysis for new and existing engineered components.
• Good hands on experience in sheet metal design and fabrication process.
• Create/ modify SolidWorks and AutoCAD assemblies for parts, drawings, etc.
• Layout, draw and reproduce illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications to describe operation and maintenance of mechanical/ electrical systems.
• Create detailed engineering, Production drawings.
• Interpret customer specifications to complete an engineering package of drawings and bill of material for manufacturing.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives to provide customers with products that meet or exceed customer requirements while improving internal metrics
• Creating item master in JDE is environment is required.
• Knowledge of NPD(New Product Development).
• Process documentation and work instructions experience preferable
• Assist Designers with required engineering expertise.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineer with 3 \xe2\x80\x93 6 years of experience or Diploma with 5 \xe2\x80\x93 8 years.
• Three years of experience in Mechanical Engineering of utility trucks.
• Solidworks/ PDM proficiency and certification is preferred.
• Excellent working knowledge of sheet metal design and weld fabrication processes, along with knowledge of assembly and welding procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Possess the ability to recognize the application of multiple equipment components and their combined integration to achieve specific requirements.
• Experience working as team player is required.
• English Proficiency: Excellent written and oral Communication is required.
