Collaborate with product management and design engineering to select appropriate connectors, cables, and components for specific automotive applications. Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate different connector options to optimize performance, reliability, and cost. Design and develop cable assemblies, considering factors such as signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and mechanical robustness. Perform design validation testing, including signal integrity analysis, connector/cable performance evaluation, and environmental testing. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure efficient and effective production processes for high-speed automotive connector integration. xa0 Exposure to high-speed data communication protocols and termination to high-speed cables such as Ethernet, USB, HDMI, and LVDS Develop and maintain product specifications, design guidelines, and documentation related to high-speed connector application and production. Collaborate with suppliers to select and qualify connectors, cables, and related components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and automotive requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to high-speed connector integration, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement appropriate solutions. Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies related to high-speed connectors, automotive applications, and production development. Supports current product with continuous improvement and supports resolution of customer issues.
