The Engineer will be responsible for selection of Instrumentation Components, Commissioning of systems.The Engineer will be responsible for selection of Instrumentation Components, Commissioning of systems.Main Responsibilities & Tasks:Support the Selection of right Instruments through knowledge of the performance requirements, including all aspects of the product design criteria, product function and customer needsEnsure quality in a product\'s design for usability, reliability, functionality, marketability, and manufacturability.Support efforts to verify and validate new product designsApply design to cost and design for manufacturability methods to support project leaders in achievement of project objectivesContribute as a team member on development projects carrying out assigned responsibilities in a timely, diligent, safe, and professional mannerSupport the organization\'s intellectual property strategy by documenting data and independent, unique and patentable ideas that results from experimentations and concept generation activitiesEnsure a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company\'s procedures and corresponding regulationsQualification & Skills:Academic degree in Engineering - Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering preferred.Minimum 3-6 years relevant experience in Instrumentation design and selection with a solid understanding of the product lifecycleAble to identify, break down and solve a variety of difficult technical problems.Strong aptitude for hands-on engineering testing and erection of Instruments in Bioreactors, Filtration SkidDisciplined and well-organized in documentation (plans, requirements, drawings, design reviews, and test methods)Experience working with ISO requirements and other relevant guidelines and regulations.Knowledge of SAP, BOM, Calibration, Risk Matrix, Good Documentation PracticesKnowledge on regulatory requirements CE, uL508A, IECEX & ATEXTeam player with good communication skillsAbout SartoriusSartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
