Job Description

Overview:
Automation Engineer with excellent hands-on experience developing E2E automation Code with good knowledge in manual validation and QA process. Should be capable of working in highly critical projects. Should be well versed with Design and Maintenance of Automation Framework. Well versed with OOPs concept and in-depth knowledge about Data structure, algorithm, and software engineering. Responsibilities:

• Work closely with multi-site developers, product managers, engineers to assure product understanding to test coverage
• Design, develop or work with senior team members on tools, automation frameworks and Programming languages like Python, Java
• Find and log defects and provide complete details, participate in triage meetings, and discuss on logged defects
• Able to estimate and commit task level effort and deliver activities on time
• Use critical thinking to examine bug report and make prioritization on next test strategy
• Collaborate with various teams, collect important data and information, and should be ready to take quality decision in shortest possible time

• Work closely with software developers and test engineers to understand software workflows, use cases and specifications in creating automated tests across the application

• Responsible for automation tasks in application testing, test automation sprints, and resolving technical issues in a quick turnaround time

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Software Testing/ Software Automation Engineering
• Strong Programming knowledge in Python or Java
• Well versed with OOPs (Object Oriented) concepts and should apply them when developing automation code
• Good knowledge on Data structures, Design patterns and/or Algorithms

• Debugging existing software programs to identify and repair errors in code

• Well-rounded experience with multiple operating systems (Windows and Mac)

• Realtime Experience in working with Scrum/Agile development environment

• Proficient in Design of automated test coverage strategies based on release requirements
• Support and evolve CI/CT/CD Platform for continuous testing
• Review code written by other programmers, automation engineers for defects in syntax and other issues that could cause failures or crashes
• Ability to work in a team
• Desire to constantly learn new things and improve skills
• Good understanding about DevOPS process, you may require working closely with DevOPS team, Lab team to make sure, CI/CT of your product is running up to date
• Explore deep on audio domain and collaborate with multiple teams regarding your ongoing project or upcoming project work

Good to have skills

• Expertise in Performance and Load testing will be a definite plus
• Experience in Cloud based testing
• Work and contribute in DEVOPS team model.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science/Electronics or Master in Computer Applications (MCA)
