Apply today!What you will be doingPerforms requirement reviews or sprint planning sessions and develops understanding of expectationsTranslates business and technical requirements into test cases, test scenarios and scriptsAssists in evaluating testability of business and technical requirements based on business/functional requirement document, use cases, user stories and/or solution design documentsProvides feedback on the target technical specifications from testability and feasibility point of viewEvaluates quality of business requirements for medium to large projects based on Business Requirement Document (BRD), use cases and/or solution design documentsSuppSorts and helps establish systems environment standards, and quality parameters and targetsCollaborates with project stakeholders to create a structured project test plan for all functional and technical system components, and defines assumptions, risks and user acceptance criteriaAssists in coding and documenting custom testing frameworks and requirement traceability matrixAssists with setup and maintenance of test environments for both manual and automated testingLeverages automated testing suites, explores edge cases and drives quality with development teamsGathers test result data, assigns severity levels to issues, and documents accurate system responsePerforms initial analysis of defects, conducts root cause analysis, and escalates issues as per protocolsEstablishes processes and tool sets to maintain automation scripts and generates regular test reports for faster bug tracking and rapid reportingPartners with senior quality engineers to simplify and modernize testing tools and techniques to ensure code maximum coverage and constantly improve the ways of testing the productsActively participates in requirement/design reviews; identifies gaps during reviews and probes for detailed explanation of expectationsWhat your background should look likeEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.Preferred Certifications:Certified Associate in Software TestingCertified Software Quality AnalystCertified Test EngineerWORK EXPERIENCE:2+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in system/software quality and testing.Mandatory - Excellent communication skills, Writing test cases & plansMandatory - SQL Commands OR SQL (backend database testing)SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:Behavioral Skills:Critical ThinkingDetail OrientedInterpersonal CommunicationLearning AgilityProblem SolvingTime ManagementTechnical Skills:Automated Screening and TestingIT ControlsTechnical DocumentationTest Script Writing & DeploymentTools Knowledge:API Testing Tools like Postman, SoapUI, TestCollabSoftware Frameworks like Visual Basic, C#, Powerbuilder, .NetAutomated Testing Tools like WinRunner and LoadRunnerBug Tracking SoftwareEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems like Sage, ASW, SAPFunctional Testing Tools like Selenium, CucumberMicrosoft Office SuiteWhat Cencora offersAll team members globally are provided with basic life insurance, personal accident insurance, business travel accident insurance, and EAP resources at no cost.
