Position summary
Engineering team is responsible for design, development, testing and deployment of solutions for challenging problems using latest tools and technologies. Team uses agile and lean principles to delivers high quality deliverables using continuous integration. Engineering team takes pride in delivering innovative solutions to add value to corporate actions business & its customers.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full stack Java engineer to join our team to implement next generation of features for the application as well as support existing platform. As a full stack engineer you will be responsible for development and maintenance of robust and scalable software solutions in a highly dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Duties & accountabilities
We're looking for a strong and dynamic technical individual to develop and support a highly scalable platform.
Collaborate within team and wider organization on technical as well as business knowledge
Apply strong technical skills and good business knowledge - together with investigative techniques and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
Should be able to work directly with Business Analyst, Operations team and DevOps team to understand and resolve issue
Work with other engineering streams like QA, DBA's and DevOps to enhance quality metrics
Design and Develop high quality deliverables using continuous integration following Agile and Lean
Focus on ensuring Quality Gate Metrics are met as part of code development
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology and has a passion for high quality of deliverables.
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
2+ years' experience in Java, JEE platform with expert level java coding experience
Hands-on experience in on advanced Java 11+features including Multi-Threading, Concurrency, Serialization, Cloning, Annotations
Experience in relational Databases like Oracle, designing normalized or de-normalized database, writing SQL queries & stored procedures and analyzing & fixing performance issues.
Knowledge of Spring Integration framework, JSON web services, Spring Batch, Spring REST, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Apache kafka is a plus
Basic knowledge of Unix commands is a must.
Proficient in OOPS, Design Patterns and Data Structures.
Knowledge of Test Driven Development and ability to write units tests leveraging frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, JMock etc. for extensive unit-testing
Knowledge of build & release tools like Maven
Knowledge of Agile development methodology
Knowledge of developing web applications with Angular12+ and RESTful Web services
Commercial awareness
Knowledge of financial markets or financial feeds would be very useful
