Job Description

:

• To ensure Fire & safety Measures in the plant.
• Ensure Compliance of Fire prevention & safety requirements & National Building code
• Ensure effective working of Fire man team
• Ensuring Functioning and Maintenance of Fire safety equipments and Fire fighting equipments.
• Implement Fire prevention & emergency response procedure
• Fire safety Audits
• Ensure Fire and Safety practices implementation on ground
• Implementation of Plant safety practices

• Knowledge of Documentation and Legal Compliances of Fire prevention and Life safety Measure rules.
• Planning of Fire Man shift schedule, & ensure their functioning & supervision.
• Fire Hazard Assessment of Plant and Process.
• Play the Fire Safety Officer role to prevent injuries and Fire.
• Ensure functioning of fire safety equipment for prevention of fire safety incidents.
• Ensure the healthiness of Fire safety equipments Like Monitors, smoke detectors,Heat detectors, auto flooding systems etc.
• Preventive maintenance of Fire suppression systems/ sprinkler system.
• Fire load Calculation and do classification of plant w.r.t. fire hazard.
• Ensure work safety work permit system implementation and checking.
• Take trainings for fire prevention and fire fighting.
• Participate in Fire drills, work on gaps and improve the system
• Basic knowledge of ISO 45001.
• Maintain fire equipment spare parts and Inventory to avoid contingencies.
• Documentation & Record keeping for Fire safety Equipments and their maintenance.
• Work in Shifts and in plant shutdowns to ensure plant safety at non working days.
• Access and Evaluate fire safety in departments
