As a technical support Engineer in our IT operations team, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of Citrix, Windows, Virtual, and Cloud Infrastructure operations. You will be handling hardware and software faults, deploying servers, and managing operational issues in core platform areas.Accountabilities:
As part of your role, you will be responsible for monitoring alerts, handling service requests, diagnosing and fixing end user related incidents, building and deploying servers, and managing incident queues. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing change requests, fulfilling standard change requests, and updating Known Error documentation.Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent with 3 to 5 years Operational experience in Windows Server/VMware/Cloud (AWS/Azure) administration
- Experience in managing Incidents, Problems, changes and capacity management aspects
- Demonstrated ability handling large number of incidents via any ITSM tool
- Flexibility to work in shifts on rotational basis covering Americas, EMEA and ASIAPAC regions 24*7
- An ability to work effectively in a matrix organization is essential
- A self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, resilience and a desire for professional excellence
- In Depth or working Knowledge on Cloud solutions and concepts
- Experience with Service Now ITSM tool is preferred
- Basic Operational experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure), Windows OS (Windows 2012/2016/2019) and VMware (ESXi 6.x and above)
- Experience on handling Server(Blade & Rack) \xe2\x80\x93 UCS & HP Platforms
- Experience working with enterprise monitoring tool and understanding dashboards
- Good experience in Citrix Administration with both XenApp and XenDesktop with multiple sites and farms
- Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp and XenDesktop, provisioning services (PVS) and MCS
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- ITIL Knowledge on Change, incident and problem management- Diploma/Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
- Multi years of work experience in Technical teams working in Shifts
