Maintain EHS manuals, forms, formats, returns, registers, and check lists.
Liaise with officials from State Pollution Control Board and KIADB.
Ensure company is complied with all government statutory requirements related to Safety, Health and EMS.
Ensure safe operating instructions are available at workplace.
Manage Health, Safety and Environmental issues including legal requirements for operation.
Timely inspection of assets pertaining to EHS (fire extinguishers, hydrant system, CETP, Lifting tools and tackles etc).
Ensure all action plans related to EHS system (Such as accident reports, mock drills, safety committee meetings, safety walk, Legal meetings, audits etc.,) are prepared and kept for review with HR manager.
Follow up all the near miss incidents action closure with the concerned responsible and ensure they are solved from time to time.
Conducting internal safety audits to all departments & Monthly Quarterly EOHS reports to be prepared.
Induction and planned training & awareness to all employees about safety.
To be aware of ISO 14001 xe2x80x93 2015, ISO 45001 standards
Committed to plan, implement, maintain and improve the EMS.
Be knowledgeable about environmental issues in general and in the organization in particular
To be aware about the aspect & impact pertaining to EMS in the particular function.
Ensure highest standards of Health, safety and hygiene at the factory.
Should be able to speak in Kannada language to address and train the shopfloor employees
Education qualification: Diploma/Advance Diploma in Fire and Safety Engineering or Graduation in any specializationExperience: More than 5 Years with minimum 3 years of industrial experience in Health and Safety DepartmentSkills:
Experience in conduct of toolbox meeting and safety awareness trainings.
Knowledge of basic environment and safety requirements.
Awareness of EMS 14001, ISO 9001, OSHAS 18001
Inspection of safety equipment such as lifting tackles, fire extinguishers etc.
