Job Purpose: Provide support to Shell\'s OUs by updating the 3d Model through AVEVA E3D drawing management systems and by converting the laser scan to AVEVA E3D. The Candidate primarily works on AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD Business Dimensions : The role is expected to be the expert in AVEVA E3D modeler and closely engage with an OU in updating the technical specification & suggest improvement solutions for improving the overall quality of work. Also, provide training and guidance to other drafters while replicating best practices from stakeholders and partner organizations. Principal Accountabilities: Has extensive working experience as AVEVA E3D Modeler. Understand the completeness and consistency across the entire project for improving quality and reducing rework Strong understanding of fundamentals of Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil Structural and Process discipline required for Plant 3D model creation. Proficiency in AVEVA E3D modeling with an understanding of drafting and quality check process Prepare layout design activities which shall include, but are not limited to - Piping layout design development, pipe support detailing, material handling, Model review sessions and issue of layout and drawing deliverables. Prepares piping routine layout, reviews piping isometrics, machinery arrangement layout and piping arrangement guidance drawings. Reviews the isometric of critical line Have knowledge with oil and gas industry standards such as, but not limited to, ASME, API, and other relevant standards Awareness of applicable industry standards, Company standards, specifications and procedures related to piping engineering. Having knowledge of Digital twin and hands-on experience in AVEVA P&ID, AVEVA Instrumentation, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Net, MS office, AutoCAD, Navisworks will be added advantage Key Challenges: Ability to manage, execute, maintain quality and on time. deliverables, drawing management, process supporting document archiving. Virtual working with key stakeholders for day to day operations Flexible working hours required to cover multiple time zones Effective initiative to identify and help resolve business and technical issues within areas of responsibility. Exposes the individual to all cultural backgrounds and organizational levels across the globe, across diverse time zones. The role primarily involves remote support to the Shell operating units/sites in the drawing management & updates. Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience Education/Experience: Mechanical / Piping Engineering Degree/ Diploma with 5-7 years of work experience in Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical Industry - operating assets and/or a varied range of brownfield projects. A minimum of 6 years experience in a designer in AVEVA E3D Review and prepare piping design deliverables (i.e., Bill of Material, Isometrics and Piping GA Drawings) Knowledge in Information Management and Integrated Engineering Systems processes and principles Familiar with international codes, standards, recommended practices, and knowledge level in Shell Dep will be added advantageous. Piping/Mechanical design & technical disciplinary drawings in design, drafting & engineering firms/ consultancy firms/ plant environments/industry past the professional degree/diploma. Result-oriented with goal setting for self and team. Leadership skills and team engagement Highly Preferred skills are: . Strong knowledge in 2D tools such as Auto-cad/AVEVA E3D. . Acting as an interface with other disciplines to overcome design/drafting issues . Strong knowledge in AVEVA suites and Digital twin. . Application Knowledge- AutoCAD, AVEVA E3D Behavioral Competences: Excellent communication skills and a quick learner. Be a good team player. Ability to prioritize and ensure delivery of priorities for the area of responsibility. Flexible and adaptable to change, with a track record of demonstrating initiative, analytical capabilities and problem-solving. Ability to apply engineering best practices, codes, and standards to identify issues, recommend improvements, and implement solutions. Excellent stakeholder management with business interface exposure Strong interpersonal leadership skills are critical due to the requirement for effective communication of complex issues across multiple offices and teams.
