Engineer / Engineer-Design

Location: Devanahalli, Bengaluru
About Electric India Pvt Ltd: , a French-based company with its manufacturing unit in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, has grown to become a global supplier of wiring cables, cable assemblies, connectivity solutions, box build, and control cabinets.

CTC : 10 to 13 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and transcribing customer drawings of harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies for manufacturing purposes.
• Creation and/or verification of a Bill of Material in drawings and ERP System.
• Validation of physical parts (samples) vs. customer specifications, spotting problems and their origins.
• Documented escalation of deviations to project manager and customer for proper validations before manufacturing/shipment.
• Writing cutting data (lengths, stripping, crimping parameters, marking).
• Writing assembly instruction sheets, packing datasheets, and preparation of documents for operator training and production processes.
• Realization of drawings in AutoCAD (3D expertise appreciated).
• Identification of tools and machines for crimping, cutting, stripping, and marking for production use.
• Preparation of data for SAP database, research of datasheets, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Participation in FAI file establishment with quality.
• Participation in NPI (New Product Introduction) with team members for new productions.
• Coordination and follow-up of configuration management, change management, and impact analysis on production files, sharing relevant information with project leaders.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Mandatory experience and knowledge in using an ERP System, preferably SAP.
• Mandatory experience in CAD design.
• Experience in specific wire harness design software (Arcadia from CADONIX is a plus).

Experience:

• 6 to 8 years in manufacturing industries, preferably within an Engineering department.
• Experience in a wiring harness company is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of SAP and CAD design.

Educational Qualifications: B.E or M.Tech in E&C/Mechanical
