It has two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Vadodara (Gujarat) and Mysore (Karnataka). The manufacturing facilities are accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.The Company has a capacity to manufacture around 40,000 KM per annum of power cables, 3600 KM per annum of instrumentation cables, 6 lakh core KM per annum of jelly filled (copper) telecom cables, 6 lakh fibre KM of optical fibre cables, 4000 MTs of Railway Contact Wire and 2000 MTs of Railway Catenary Wire.KEC entered the cables business by acquiring RPG Cables in 2010. • Cable costing - making offers for Cable enquiry and tenders.
• Must be able to analyse the requirements and specification of a customer requirement and determine the cost.
• Review of information about demands and derivation of supply and proposal preparations.
• Contribution in cost and price calculations.
• Coordination of tender reviews and deadlines and adjust them to the frameworks given by the customers.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Well-developed negotiation skills.
• Coordinate with plant technical / design team for non standard cables.
• Online bidding
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Skill/ CompetenciesTechnical -

• Knowledge of MS Office - Excel etc
• Conversant with latest technology and industry - product standards and specifications
• Effective coordination skills

Functional:

• Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands-on with good initiative
• Online bidding,
• Basic daily updates of the metal industry
