Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQ's data and insights to innovate and grow. Feeding data into the Connect platform are also a set of large scale applications that process millions of records of data every day.As an Engineer, you\'ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Right now the platform for which we are hiring is based in Java, ExtJS (Sencha), Angular, Spring Boot, Tom Cat, Oracle, Elastic Search, Mongo, Azure Cloud and we continue to adopt the best of breed in cloud-native, low-latency technologies. We value CI/CD in everything that we develop. Our team is co-located and agile, with central technology hubs in Chicago, Madrid, Toronto and Chennai.What you\'ll do

• Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data (Manual or Automation).
• Execute test cases (manual or automated), analyze results and track software testing metrics.
• Report defects and assist in their understanding.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and suggest improvements / new technologies that can improve the platform in terms of speed, quality and cost.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1+ years of experience in software testing.
• Good knowledge and/or experience of functional and Performance testing.
• Good knowledge and/or working experience on both Automation and performance testing.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in Katalon studio, Selenium, Performance testing tools, SQL, Java, Python scripting an added advantage.
