Role Purpose: .To monitor the design, and developed solutions for the Kenan Billing System. .To provide key technical expertise on these systems to the team and to be a product expert. .To ensure quality is maintained across deliverables. .Identify process improvement opportunities .Keep a track of operational KPIs and trend. Key accountabilities Involvement in the design or modification of Kenan and/or Interconnect Billing Systems. Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs. Gathers, documents, and analyses business needs and requirements. .Monitor complete solutions along with installation, system test plans and results of tests and ensure they are fit-for-purpose and up to COLT agreed standards. .Determine operational objectives by studying business function gathering information evaluating desired outcomes. .To acquire a good working knowledge of the different COLT country set-ups and requirements and to gain an understanding of the COLT billing model and New Product Introduction development cycle. .Improve systems by studying current practices design modifications, recommend controls by identifying problems .Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports .Experience of Kenan FX / Arbor BP version 4.X - Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience Experience ofInterconnect billing system v8.2/v10/v11 - Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience Expertise in SQL and PL / SQL Must have understanding Reference data Configuration, Rating, bill period closure, invoicing, Financials and Customer profile setup Other accountabilities (optional) Knowledge of Voice products, preferably IN .Ensure review and approval of all recommendations, deliverables or request additional information, where required, to complete the Change Requests .Ensure planning and tracking of scheduled activities in a well-defined, structured manner .Ensure timely, regular and structured communication to all impacted stakeholders at all given times Key performance indicators (financial and non-financial) Quality of work deliverables Timeliness of deliveries Innovation/ Technology and Thought Leadership Delivery of cost effective and optimal solutions Adherence to processes Continuous improvement in delivery methodology/ efficiency/ productivity Relationships and key contacts Project implementation teams Billing Functional SME teams Architecture and Solution Design teams Customer Service teams Sales and Account Executives Product Managers Role specific requirements Skills & Experience Mandatory Skills Kenan Billing System 2.x and above (preferably 4.x) of Amdocs, Kenan Arbor/BP Sound knowledge of Interconnect v8.2/v10 and above Hands on experience on converting business requirements to technical specifications and vice versa Good Knowledge of Billing Operations activities Good understanding of Kenan architecture, configurations and tables. 3-5 Years of total experience with minimum 3 years of relevant configuration experience on Kenan Billing platform or Interconnect Billing platform Hands-on experience in SQL, Microsoft Excel. Python preferred Project Management / Change Management / Delivery Management experience Desirable Skills Technical and functional knowledge of other retail billing systems, wholesale billing systems and Mediation systems Experience as business analyst or data migration specialists in billing implementation projects Preferably experience of IT/BSS and implementation within a telecoms company Qualifications Minimum qualification - B.E., B.Tech, MCA Behaviours Transparency Ownership Initiative Resilience Challenge Risk Appetite Collaboration Others Good communication including high-level of spoken English & good document writing skill. Experience of working to tight deadlines.
