Engineer Acoustics (p2)
Job Description
Purpose Integration of audio and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal audio performance. Key Responsibility Creating test plans, bug reporting and triaging, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting design reviews Identify holes in test coverage, actively sync with multi-functional teams to optimize testing Contribute to the development and testing of audio hardware & software Understand the needs, challenges and existing tools and be involved in defining and updating test tools, processes and procedures. Technical Requirements Foundational understanding of electronics and audio technology Knowledge on transducers and their Acoustic integration Excellent coding and debugging skills (Python, C/C++ preferred) Audio DSP knowledge for applications such as Microphone Array Processing, Beam-Forming, Multi-Band Compression, Noise Suppression in portable devices Knowledge in audio testing, software testing, isolation issues, devising test plans for specification Working knowledge of real-time audio handling (sample rates, buffering, PCM, drivers, etc.) Qualification B.E, B.Tech. M.E. M. Tech in EE, E&I, Audio Engineering B.S (Engg Physics) Experience 0 to 8 Years Competencies Future Ready Teamwork Agility Customer Empathy Purposeful Pursuit of Goals Pioneering Deep Domain Knowledge
