Job Title:- Engine Installation Engineer
1.) Job Purpose: -

As a Tractor Design and Development Engineer, you will design new products and processes, as well as improve/maintain existing products for the Case IH and New Holland CCH [Cash Crop High] and 4WD agricultural tractors manufactured at the Racine, WI and Fargo, ND plants.
The successful candidate will have mechanical design responsibility and lead \xe2\x80\x9cend to end\xe2\x80\x9d development projects for systems focused on operator cab interior/exterior, fenders, exterior trim, and enclosures. We seek candidates that have experience with the following systems: operator ingress/egress, cab sealing, fixed/bonded glass, fenders, mechanical controls (e.g. pedals, steering), interior/exterior plastic component surfacing, electronic component mounting, and audio systems. We seek candidates that have experience in any of the following: Cab and Operator Environment, Non-metallic enclosure design, or other general on or off-road vehicle engineering systems. Knowledge of HVAC, NVH, and Human Factors/Ergonomics, as well as strong leadership and communication skills will help to ensure a successful fit.
2.) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -
Position is responsible to coordinate designs with suppliers, prepare and complete designs, design reviews, FMEA\xe2\x80\x99s, CAD modeling (component and assembly) and drawings. Track costs of completed designs with product cost management. Write and track engineering changes. Accountable to maintain project log on assigned tasks and work with team through development and implementation phases to meet timing.
You will communicate with management, engineering teams and production utilizing effective proactive engineering tools to determine design feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer acceptance for new and current products and refine requirements when necessary.
3) Background Information and Main Activities: -
As an engine installations design engineer, you will be a designer supporting large tractor fan, cooling systems, air intake, exhaust and DEF systems development, integration & current product maintenance. It is your role to understand the vehicle design requirements for the specific parts & or assemblies you are designing. You will also be responsible for the coordination of changes with the interfacing groups (including but not limited to Product Validation, Fiat Powertrain, suppliers, Chassis team, Cab team, Routings team, \xe2\x80\xa6).
This position is responsible for design and release of production changes and improvements. Duties include resolving design issues that result in assembly or warranty issues and meeting all release dates per defined schedules. You will utilize spreadsheets and statistical methods to analyze data and other information. Utilize Pro/E Creo to design components, assemblies and implement solutions

5) Qualification, Age and Experience: -
Education-
Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering
Professional Qualification-
4-12 years of design experience in on-road or off-road vehicles and/or agricultural equipment.
Experience
Pro/E Creo training and experience and general CAD design. General knowledge of mechanical principles, kinematics, structural materials, FEA, and standard vehicle components. Experience in design in sheet metal/plate steel fabrications, welded fabrications and ductile and gray iron castings. Working knowledge of general computer applications (Excel, Word, etc)
