Location: Narsingpur, Kherki Daula Post, Delhi Jaipur Road, Gurgaon - 122004 (Haryana), India JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Engineer for this role will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing of electronic components and systems used in air-conditioner units. Electronic components may include circuit boards, sensors, control systems, power supplies, inverters, converters, motor drives and other power electronic systems that convert and control electrical power and other power electronic devices. May also be involved in the selection and application of power electronic components and devices, such as diodes, transistors, and thyristors, and the design of control systems for these devices. May be responsible for researching and implementing new technologies to improve the performance and efficiency of power electronic systems in air-conditioning systems. May be responsible for designing analyzing and implementing high-power high-frequency circuits and devices, such as SMPS, Inverters, Variable frequency drives, and Motor control systems that control the compressors and fans in air-conditioners. May need to work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure that the systems meet safety and performance requirements. May be responsible for testing electronic systems and components along with troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise with these electronic components. May be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the manufacturing process. EDUCATION PREFERRED: Bachelors\' Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Target experience level: 4 6 years Must have a worked in design and manufacturing industry of electronics products. Strong knowledge in the fields of electronics and HVAC systems. Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set: Designing, developing, and testing of electronic components and systems. Selection of different components as per air conditioner application requirement. Researching, analyzing, and implementing new technologies in products. Root Cause finding capability and corrective action implementation. Understanding of controller logic flow and firmware loading for different microcontrollers. Understanding of manufacturing type and safety test. Understanding of component and controller qualification requirements and building test plans. Desirable Competencies/ Secondary Skill Set: Hands on experience on: - Manufacturing process, FMEA and Quality systems. PCB designing and manufacturing. Different Test instruments (CRO, LCR Mete, Multimeter, etc.). Soldering & De-soldering. Firmware loading in microcontrollers. Reading and understanding of specifications. Preparation of product documents like user manual, Installation manual Project handling / Management: Coordinating with cross functional team members. Interacting with suppliers for part developments. Supporting and tracking field problems and effectiveness of corrective action provided. Multiple project handling in parallel Other Competencies: . Good knowledge, understanding, hands on experience: - MS Office. (Power Point, Word, Excel). Communication skill, Verbal, Non-Verbal. Writing Emails with clear communication, taking con-calls and conducting meetings. Reading and understanding of drawings. Capability to take self-initiatives. Open to travel as per required task. Motivated to work individually and with team - locally and globally. Should be able to take ownership to drive projects end to end. Project stages: concept, design, reviews, validation, and product launch.
