You will have the opportunity to apply academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, interact with experts and clients in the field, while building content knowledge and consulting skills.Provide advisory services to the energy/utilities industry. Assists organizations in improving their performance through the assessment, identification and implementation of strategic planning and goals. Incumbents advise clients in areas such as corporate strategy, business unit strategy, customer & marketing strategy, growth and innovation. Services also include the development and review of financial business plans including potential mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.This position will be located in New Delhi/ BangaloreWhat you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing\xe2\x80\xa6.The role will be focused in providing end-end Interconnection support for projects in various ISO/RTO queues, which includes Tariff Advisory, Interconnection Applications and Interconnection Strategy/analysisPrepare Interconnection Applications, including steady state, short-circuit and EMTRP models. Responsible for timely submittal of requests and client managementCollecting and analyzing data for power flow modeling projects (i.e., Transmission Plans, interconnection queues and upgrades, expected system changesPerform power flow and stability analysis on interconnection models, affected system studies, material modification etc.,Assist in load flow analysis of transmission and distribution systems, including steady state, contingency, and dynamic analysis.Lead data input, output processes and maintain datasets, templates.Research and keep the broader group updated on latest power market developments in prominent ISO/RTO markets.Support modeling and policy analysis related to transmission, renewable energy, smart grid and distributionDevelop process efficiencies and automationPreparing high-quality written and electronic productsWhat you\xe2\x80\x99ll need\xe2\x80\xa6Master\'s degree in Power / Energy systems or Bachelor\'s in electrical engineering is must.1+ years of Power Flow analysis and/or Interconnection studies analysisBasic knowledge of industry-standard power flow tools such as GE-PSLF, PSS/E, PowerWorld, CYMDIST, TARA, ASPEN, PSCADAbility to demonstrate strong quantitative and/or modeling skills, specifically database management and data analysis skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office (Excel and VBA) skillsKnowledge of Excel macro programming and other programming languagesGood research skillsStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and work on multiple projects under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and oral communications skillsWorks collaboratively with project team and client to achieve established goals.Working at ICFWorking at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day.
