Customized automation projects for the client to implement a flexible Network Management framework based on Juniper tools (proprietary) and other Open Source tools and technologies

Responsibilities

Work in a collaborative, cross-functional DevOps model.
Responsible for the stable end-to-end CI/CD test pipelines.
Report, track, and drive to closure of defects found during end-to-end testing.
Working with teams across different zones.
Ability to work independently and remotely with limited supervision.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Team Player.

Skills

Must have

Experience in E2E testing of network automation projects.
Experience in using Robot Framework
Development of test cases, keywords.
Experience in Python development
Able to extend Robot Framework with the use of custom Python functions.
Parsing data structures in XML, JSON ideally with XPATH or JSONPATH, and YAML.
Understanding of REST/TMF API concepts (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE etc.)
Git, GitLab CICD and Pipelines.
XML, YAML and JSON
Experience in Agile development and DevOps.
Experience in CI/CD-based software development.
Experience in using Jira or similar tool to create the work breakdown and track the delivery.
Experience working on large cross-functional projects.
Experience in Testing methodologies - Unit, Smoke, Functional and Non-functional testing, Integration testing, scalability testing and performance testing.

Nice to have

The ideal candidate will have as much coverage of the topics as possible but mandatory.
Good understanding of integration/Middleware like Kafka, Kong (API GW).
Good understanding of network services - like port type, Internet, IPVPN, Cloud Connectivity, L2VPN.
Good understanding of telemetry.
Good understanding of workflow automation testing - like service provisioning workflow, resource inventory workflow, etc.
Good understanding of Inventory management systems - like Netbox.
Good understanding of networking protocols - like ISIS, BGP.
Optional - good understanding of Juniper Paragon Automation and Paragon Active Assurance products.
Familiarity with concepts of BDD.
