Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures and ensuring the proper care, handling, and maintenance of endoscopic equipment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain endoscopic equipment for procedures, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and bronchoscopies.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort during procedures, and respond to patient needs as directed by medical staff.
• Handle and dispose of specimens obtained during procedures according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures performed, patient care, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures, preparation, and post-procedure care as needed.
