You will be required to address talent specific concerns and take preventive measures to minimise such grievances. You will be required to partner with a range of stakeholders to provide a solution, assist with their business specific talent concerns and enable a positive work environment across the firm.Your work profileAs a Deputy Manager in our Talent Relations team, you\'ll build and nurture positive working relationships with internal/external teams and stakeholders with the intention to exceed the expectations: -

  • Understand, interpret, and resolve complex talent relations issues and mitigate risk to the firm and professionals.
  • Investigate policy violations, behavioral misconduct, harassment, interpersonal conflicts, performance related issues etc.
  • Act as a member of the Internal Committee (IC) to inquire into sexual harassment complaints and / or support the IC in investigations and provide administrative support.
  • Manage Background check/Recruitment fraud related cases with the support of Geo Talent leads and address process gaps observed.
  • Consult ethics on critical or senior management issues, communicate findings and arrive at solutions related to investigations.
  • Documentation and report writing for all the inquiries conducted by Talent Relations.
  • Partner with various stakeholders like Talent Advisors, Ethics/Reputation & Risk Office, Legal, etc. ensuring seamless redressal of complaints/issues and during the course effectively understand and address any challenges or process gaps observed. Effectively freeing all the advisors and understanding the system and data that will be required.
  • Ongoing and periodic reporting and analysis requirements to be fulfilled including maintaining a comprehensive internal Talent Relations tracker for all the cases handled, leadership reports, and other ad hoc requests, that would act as a ready reckoner for all the senior leadership and stakeholder to understand the overall Talent Relations contributions, inflow of cases, action taken, top trends etc.
  • Support awareness programs and other modes of communication covering varied topics along with ethics/Talent teams across businesses and recommend preventive measures.
  • Support to be extended in crisis situations, manage cases of self-harm/threat, police matters, and medical emergencies as needed in partnership with other teams.
Desired qualifications
  • MBA (HR) from reputed institute. With 8-12 years of experience in similar field.
  • Able to form effective relationship at all levels of business.
  • A critical thinker who constantly questions the status quo.
  • Open and flexible in your approach, able to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Location and way of working
  • Base location: Mumbai or Bangalore preferably
  • This profile does not involve extensive travel for work but there could be few occasional requirements to visit other Deloitte locations.
