Emergency Medical Technician
Job Description
• Monitor vital signs and response to treatment, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure patient stability.
• Administer oxygen, perform CPR, and utilize automated external defibrillators when required.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, interventions, and transportation activities.
• Regularly inspect and maintain medical equipment, including ambulances, stretchers, and emergency supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, infection control protocols, and hospital policies related to emergency medical services.
Qualifications:
B.Sc. ( Emergency Care technician or Critical care technician )
Experience : Previous experience in emergency medical services, preferably in a hospital.
• Care Skills : Understanding of age-related medical conditions, cognitive impairments, and mobility challenges commonly observed in elderly patients.
• Flexibility : Willingness to work rotating shifts, to ensure 24/7 coverage of emergency medical services.
