Working Flexibly Structured hybrid role:

Introduction:
The role holder will work as part of a team accountable for providing world class client service to a diverse client base. The role holder will be responsible for supporting an Operational Function within the Investment Operations Centre of Excellence.
What will you be doing?
  • Significant BAU experience and technical understanding of settlements business (All Financial Products) and its inherent risks with Extensive knowledge or experience in Avaloq Application
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly articulate complicated issues to management and other impacted areas and ensure timely resolution of breaks and issues
  • Managing CSDR Regulation activities
  • Responsibility for reconciling and challenge the Penalties
  • Responsibility for Buy-in Regulations activities
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the process and compliance to procedures and policy guidelines
  • To proactively build relationships with customers (internal and external);
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements for the process are met as agreed upon with the client
  • Identify causes for non-achievement of Service Level Agreements, develop solutions and implementing the same
  • Review and analyse performance reports against targets on a weekly/monthly basis with Team Managers and with client and investigate causes for performance deviations
  • Ensure process compliance with all business rules and regulatory directives, and adherence to all operational processes and procedures such as disaster recovery
  • Perform trend analysis on MIS/ data and identify deficiencies (tools, metrics and reports) and recommend solutions
  • Develop strategic & tactical plans to identify, analyse and effectively respond to client\xe2\x80\x99s needs, emerging trends and best practices
  • Liaising with custodian, counterparty, traders and dealing teams
  • Support process and procedure enhancements
  • Responding to queries in line with stakeholder expectations and ensuring all responses are clear and identify the critical elements of the query to avoid potential rework at a later stage

  • Good knowledge on settlements and market requirements including CSDR Regulation
  • Graduate / Post Graduate
  • Good knowledge on Investment Banking and Capital Market Products
  • Proven record within an operational environment with experience in problem solving and knowledge of operational risk & control processes and practices
  • Resilient individual who thrives in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Should be able to demonstrate that he/she can effectively lead a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and colleagues internally and externally
  • Knowledge and understanding of FCA CASS rules
  • Effective time management and prioritisation when working to multiple and challenging deadlines
