AECOM is seeking an EMC/EMI Engineer to be based in Bangalore/Guaragon/Madrid. As an EMC/EMI Engineer you will contribute to, define and develop EMC management documentation, definition of EMC interfaces, application of standards, development of test cases and protocols for different stages of design and build projects as well as attend coordination and design team meetings as appropriate.
Responsibilities of this role may include:
Contribute to design development, design risk and mitigation and value engineering, especially regarding electromagnetic compatibility and electromagnetic interferences.
Develop EMC/EMI control plans for system/subsystems
Partner with design engineers to advise on EMC test specifications and production of test procedures and reports as required.
Ensure that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of design work in order that successful project implementation and future reliability is achieved.
Present EMC issues to non-related technical leads or clients.
Work within the financial and project constraints and consider financial implications in producing design options.
Mentoring junior engineers.
