Role Description

Sparsha IVF is seeking a full-time, on-site Embryologist to join their team. As an Embryologist, you will play a crucial role in performing laboratory skills related to in vitro fertilization (IVF), assisting with reproduction, andrology, and medicine. Your responsibilities will include managing laboratory inventory, operating specialized equipment, and collaborating with other laboratory team members to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Qualifications To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), and Medicine
• Experience in Assisted Reproduction and Andrology
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Embryology, Biology, or a related field
• Experience working with specialized laboratory equipment is a plus
• Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Valid license or certification.

Scope of Work As an Embryologist at Sparsha IVF, your scope of work will include:

• Performing retrievals, conventional inseminations, and preparing resources and inventory for upcoming cases
• Conducting semen analysis, dish preparation, and sperm preparation for IUI & ICSI procedures
• Preparing fertilization and culture plates
• Handling all aspects of the IVF laboratory, including maintenance, supervision, and freezing
• Conducting oocyte and embryo grading
• Performing fertilization checks, embryo transfers, and assisting with hatching when necessary
• Conducting micromanipulation and testing the suitability of each gamete
• Monitoring embryo development and providing accurate reports
• Conducting oocyte searching, screening, denudation, and grading for maturation
• Participating in blastocyst culture development
• Performing embryo grading (A++, A+, A, B, C, etc.)
• Selecting and transferring embryos to recipient patients as required
• Cryopreserving gametes and embryos for future use and ensuring proper documentation of these events
• Conducting vitrification/freezing and thawing procedures
• Performing TESA & Micro-TESE sperm screening
• Maintaining and monitoring cryobanks
• Assisting in quality control to improve success rates at Sparsha IVF
• Following updated lab protocols and maintaining high standards in laboratory operational practices
• Ensuring compliance with quality control measures, ethical practices, and all regulations related to gamete and embryo handling
• Keeping detailed records and documentation of daily work for review when necessary
• Providing proper documentation and reporting of all sheets to Intending Parents, including semen analysis, ART, embryology summaries, ET reports, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ?30,000.00 per month
