This position is responsible to define the test strategy, create technical roadmaps, collaborate with development teams, create and oversee the execution of test plans. This position is in the embedded software engineering team, focused on development of customer visible features on a state-of-the-art display with CNHi next generation controllers. The software applications from this team are precision Agriculture/Construction functions that operate on all CNH machines.\xc2\xb7 Build and lead a global embedded software verification team responsible for verification throughout the development lifecycle.\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement an effective embedded software testing strategy\xc2\xb7 Implement and maintain an automated continuous integration and regression test environment\xc2\xb7 Establish and enforce quality assurance processes throughout the development lifecycle\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in embedded software testing.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.\xc2\xb7 Oversee the execution of test plans\xc2\xb7 Participate in development and execution of budgets, short-term plans, and long-term plans, policies, procedures, and initiatives.\xc2\xb7 Ensure adherence to department budgets.\xc2\xb7 Support all functions of the engineering process - including risk assessment, testing, and release of product.\xc2\xb7 Monitor and initiate improvement projects to current processes or policies.\xc2\xb7 Ensure accuracy and consistency of engineering documentation.\xc2\xb7 Promote and maintain the highest possible environment of teamwork and collaboration.\xc2\xb7 Provide assistance and direction on engineering issues, and keep appropriate staff informed of issues or concerns.\xc2\xb7 Assure staffing requirements are met.\xc2\xb7 Administer team member performance reviews, goal setting, and participate in salary planning.Minimum Qualifications\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with concentration on Embedded systems or a related field.\xc2\xb7 Minimum 15 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\xc2\xb7 Experienced developing and executing embedded software testing within a structured process (creating requirements, developing, and verifying software).\xc2\xb7 Experience performing escaped defects analysis.\xc2\xb7 Prior experience leading teams effectively.\xc2\xb7 Problem-solving abilities.\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.Preferred Qualifications (Ideal candidate competencies + Power/Soft Skills)\xc2\xb7 Process Certification (DSS, ISTQB, etc.)\xc2\xb7 Drives Results\xc2\xb7 Embraces Accountability\xc2\xb7 Embraces Continual Improvement\xc2\xb7 Intentionally Develops Others\xc2\xb7 Exhibits Sound Judgement\xc2\xb7 Forges Synergy\xc2\xb7 Demonstrates Leadership Presence
