Job Role: Embedded Software Test Engineer

Work Location : Pune

Professional Experience: 5-8 years

Relevant Domain Experience: 5-8 Years

Education / Qualification: BE/BTech in Electronics/Computers

Skill / Key Technical & Behavioral Competencies:

Mandatory:

White box and Black box testing techniques

Python, Batch, VB and shell scripting

ISTQB Foundation level

Basic Embedded C skills

Good understanding of Software development life cycle (V model)

Understanding of any communication protocols like UDP/TCP, CAN

Experience with tools like SVN, JIRA, Jenkins.

Good to Have:

NI Test stand

Good hands-on with Microsoft Excel advance features

LabVIEW

Understanding of OOPS concepts

Railways domain embedded systems experience.

Main duties/responsibilities:

Estimates the efforts for Component/Integration/Overall SW test.

Creates Test specifications and test reports for all phases of testing.

Develops automated tests using scripting languages like C, Python, VB etc.

Understand the system overview and assist in End of Line, SIL and HIL testing.

Assist in HW-SW integration and System Testing.
