Job Title: Embedded Hardware Design Engineer

Experience Level: Minimum 2 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Hardware Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded hardware systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of embedded solutions for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hardware Design and Development:

- Design, develop, and test embedded hardware systems and components.

- Create schematics and PCB layouts using CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or

OrCAD.

- Select and integrate components such as microcontrollers, sensors, and communication

modules.

2. Prototyping and Testing:

- Develop and assemble hardware prototypes for testing and validation.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of hardware to ensure functionality and

performance.

- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and

software.

3. Documentation and Compliance:

- Prepare detailed technical documentation including schematics, PCB layouts, and test

reports.

- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

- Assist in the certification process of hardware products.

4. Project Management:

- Participate in project planning and provide accurate time estimates for tasks.

- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project milestones and

deadlines.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.

5. Support and Maintenance:

- Provide technical support for existing hardware products.

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues in a timely manner.

- Implement hardware upgrades and improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in embedded hardware design and development.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout design using CAD tools.
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded systems, and electronic components.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and

multimeters.

• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).
• Understanding of power management, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI considerations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with FPGA design and development.
• Knowledge of embedded software development (C/C++).
• Experience with low-power and battery-operated device design.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Certification in relevant areas (e.g., IPC, IEEE).

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
