Job Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Develop production ready software following a defined software development process.
\xc2\xb7 Good in Embedded, C & C++ Programming
. Integrate DSP algorithms for automotive audio systems using C within complex, multi-threaded, multiprocessor DSP architectures and audio frameworks.
\xc2\xb7 Own audio quality and strive to constantly improve system performance.
\xc2\xb7 Evaluate DSP algorithm performance to identify bottlenecks and resource constraints.
\xc2\xb7 Perform structured root-cause analysis on audio defects and implement targeted fixes.
\xc2\xb7 Maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and represent the DSP team during technical reviews.
\xc2\xb7 Work both independently and within large global teams with little direct supervision.
\xc2\xb7 Identify improvement opportunities and lead efforts to port, optimize, modify, fix, and extend existing code as necessary.Basic Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
\xc2\xb7 5-10 years of DSP software development using C, C++ and could handle Hardware Analysis equipment such as Oscilloscope, Signal Analyzers, etc.
\xc2\xb7 Specific experience with embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS)
\xc2\xb7 Ability to read schematics and debug analog and digital hardware.
\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of Serial communication protocols.
\xc2\xb7 Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Specific experience in audio/acoustical engineering, psycho-acoustics, and/or recording arts.
\xc2\xb7 Specific experience with noise cancellation and/or sound-synthesis techniques.
\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of vehicle networking (CAN, MOST, etc.)
\xc2\xb7 Experience with DSP Architecture and DSP assembly language programming.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with tuning complex systems
\xc2\xb7 Passion for audio and music.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with use of audio systems and software (DAWs, audio interfaces, audio plug-ins, speakers, microphones, etc.)
\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA and version control systems such as git.
