You will need to work effectively as part of UK based agile squads, responsible for the design and development of cutting edge client applications, working alongside highly skilled software and networking developers and testers, within the Broadband Devices tribe.

Delivering client development user stories for our next generation converged products and services
Deliver resolutions to problems that tend to be complex, cross-domain or of high impact to customers.
Provide technical quality assurance over work of other engineers through matrix team structure
Working effectively as part of UK based Agile delivery squads
Using scrum/JIRA/Wiki for tracking agile workflow deliveries
Supporting proactive improvement initiativesThe Skills You\'ll needKnowledge of C and python
Knowledge of linux/containerization
Knowledge of shell scripting and debugging
Knowledge of Automated testing tools and methods
Knowledge of hardware/software constraints in an embedded environment
Using code revision, issue tracking and continuous integration tools, i.e. git, JIRA, Gitlab
Good knowledge of Agile delivery methods and tools, e.g. scrum/JIRA/wiki
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical material
Ability to self-develop in required areasExperience You\'d be expected to haveMANDATORY
At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
Experience of interacting with senior stakeholders from across the business
Hands on skills and knowledge with embed C development
Experience in building and debugging on embedded Linux
Experience working in an agile development team.PREFEREED
Experience in Python, Robot framework
Experience using OpenWRT or similar
Experience in other technologies such as Angular, Android, iOS, Flutter
