The Opportunity: epocrates, an athenahealth company, is seeking an experienced multi-channel marketing technologist to manage and service our consumer platform- Iterable , to support continued feature implementations, grow and scale our new marketing automation program, build, test, and launch regular marketing campaigns across email, push, and in app messages with the goal of maximizing our outreach capabilities. Position Summary: The B2C Email Marketing Automation Associate or the Iterable ESP Administrator is responsible for the implementation, design, and ongoing support of our marketing automation programs as well as all consumer outreach via Iterable. The ideal candidate will be able to build a program from both a technical and business perspective (data literacy is key!). This person would work alongside marketing, to build out the design, implementation, and optimization of email campaigns, push notifications, in app messages, and user journeys. As part of the epocrates marketing team, the candidate will work closely with the engagement marketing team , product and analytics to develop tactical plans and campaigns to improve engagement and drive outcomes. The ideal candidate will be able to perform technical consultation for our business needs, as well as perform technical campaign builds within the platform. This person will drive epocrates marketing automation vision forward as we look to build out fully automated user journeys for differing product and marketing needs. They will be an active participant in stakeholder discussions and lead knowledge-share and educational sessions to a diverse set of internal stakeholders, including up to executive leadership. Education, Experience, & Skills Required: Bachelor\'s degree in business, mathematics, computer science or related field 5+ years\' hands-on professional experience with email marketing technology platforms such as Iterable, Customer.io, hupspot, etc. 3+ years\' experience with analytics and data to improve marketing campaign performance via A/B testing and other optimizations Proficient in the following languages Server-Side JavaScript, AMPscript, Guide Template Language, SQL and/or SOQL, HTML, and CSS Hands-on application configuration and integration experience with Iterable or other similar platforms Experience creating and executing integration and user acceptance test plans is preferred Strong and effective written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization Behaviors & Abilities Required: Precise attention to detail with a positive attitude and a take-charge mentality Comfortable juggling multiple priorities with ability to manage time effectively Comfortable acting as consultant, decision maker, SME, and being able to articulate a clear perspective on the reasoning for a given implementation design Able to drive consensus among diverse group of stakeholders Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills Organized, strong attention to detail and ability to deliver in a collaborative and fast-paced environment About athenahealth Here\'s ourvision: To create a thriving ecosystem that delivers accessible, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare for all.
