We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electroplating Supervisor (Plastics) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our electroplating operations specifically for plastic parts, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise a team of electroplating technicians specializing in plastics.

Develop and implement electroplating processes specifically tailored for adhesion and performance on plastic substrates.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of plating solutions, electrolytes, and pre-treatment processes for optimal plastic plating results.

Monitor and maintain electroplating equipment, ensuring proper operation and adherence to safety protocols within a plastics plating environment.

Conduct regular inspections of electroplated plastic parts to ensure quality control and adhesion.

Troubleshoot and resolve electroplating process issues specific to plastics.

Maintain accurate records of production data, bath chemistry, and plastic part specifications.

Implement and enforce safety regulations within the electroplating department, with a focus on handling plastics and plating solutions.

Stay up-to-date on the latest electroplating technologies and best practices for plastics.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electroplating supervision for plastics or a related role.

Strong understanding of electroplating processes, principles, and equipment, with a focus on plating on plastics.

In-depth knowledge of pre-treatment processes for plastic electroplating, including adhesion promotion techniques.

Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in an electroplating environment, specifically when handling plastics.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
