Role Describe the principal mission of the position: You will be responsible to define PCB/PCBA technology roadmap definition and work in direction of definition and optimization of technology. In addition you will support the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design, manufacturing and assembly operations to ensure ongoing product & process improvements to meet quality, cost and production goals. Responsibilities Highlight the main responsibilities: Support the definition of new PCB/PCBA technology roadmap and work together with different metiers to define standards Responsible for all PCB / PCBA technology related development, platform definition and qualification of new technologies Act as a technical advisor in complex problem solving Supervise & measure the deployment of methodologies & tools in projects Develop and maintain PCB design guide and DFM guidance for all PCB, PCBA related topics like component footprint design, coating, component clearance etc. Provide input for manufacturing assembly costs, routings, & DFM analysis Create Tickets to improve tool and to include new design options Support PCB supplier and assembler queries Responsible for cost optimization, panel design suggestions etc. Support in creating PCB material selection database Responsible for the PCB feature group Supports Product Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) as required with resolution of PCB supplier quality related issues. You are the communication interface internally between R&D, quality and purchasing, as well as externally to suppliers. Mandatory Qualifications You have a successfully completed degree in material science, electrical or a comparable qualification. Extensive PCB manufacturing and PCB assembly line knowledge. Experienced with PCB material selection based on Automotive requirements. Thorough understanding of IPC and Automotive circuit boards standards Very good knowledge of MS Office programs Excellent organisation & time management skills You are characterised by a methodical and goal-oriented way of working, a self-reliant working style, a confident manner as well as an independent, rapid solution to problems and complex tasks.
