Job Title: UPS Field Service Engineer
Job Summary:
The UPS Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Uninterruptible Power Supply systems to ensure the continuous and reliable operation of critical power infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Installation and Commissioning:
• Install and commission UPS systems at client sites according to specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing and ensure proper functionality.
• Preventive Maintenance:
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on UPS systems to identify and address potential issues before they lead to system failure.
• Replace worn-out or faulty components to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot UPS systems in the event of malfunctions or failures.
• Execute necessary repairs, replacements, or adjustments to restore functionality promptly.
• Customer Support:
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients regarding UPS system inquiries.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and address concerns.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
• Generate service reports and documentation for internal and client use.
• Training:
• Conduct training sessions for clients and end-users on the proper use and maintenance of UPS systems.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and product features to provide effective training.
• Health and Safety:
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of UPS systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and power distribution.
• Technical certifications related to UPS systems (e.g., APC, Eaton) are a plus.

Travel:
