Position: Electronic PCB Design Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Electronic PCB Design Engineer with a diploma in electronics
and 2-4 years of experience in PCB layout design, Gerber generation, and BOM (Bill of
Materials) generation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in designing and developing
printed circuit boards (PCBs) and will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the
successful realization of electronic designs. Key Responsibilities:
- PCB Layout Design: Design and develop PCB layouts according to project
specifications and requirements. - Gerber File Generation: Create and manage Gerber files for PCB manufacturing.
- BOM Generation: Prepare and maintain the Bill of Materials for PCB projects,
ensuring accuracy and completeness. - Schematic Capture: Work with schematic diagrams and translate them into PCB
layouts. - Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with industry
standards and project requirements. - Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and departments to ensure
seamless integration of PCB designs into overall project development. - Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, changes, and
specifications.
- Educational Background: Diploma in Electronics.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in PCB design and layout.
- PCB Design Software: Proficiency in using PCB design software (e.g., Altium
Designer, Eagle, OrCAD). - Gerber Generation: Experience in generating and managing Gerber files for PCB
manufacturing. - BOM Management: Ability to generate and manage accurate BOMs.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design and
documentation. - Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot
design issues. - Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in
a team environment.
- Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards and best
practices for PCB design. - Manufacturing Process Understanding: Understanding of the PCB manufacturing
process and ability to liaise with manufacturers. - CAD Tools: Experience with additional CAD tools and software used in electronic
