Organisational Reporting Report hierarchically to Services Group Manager in Bangalore Report functionally to CCSS. manager Network & Links The job is concerned by several relationships : With Signalling Product, Project and Industrial team in all Alstom Region Site. With Alstom Central teams dedicated to part codification (electronic, mechanical, electric, ..) With manufacturers / distributors of electronic components Purpose of the Job Based in Bangalore and integrated within the Signalling Industrial team, the job is the following : Manage technical data for electronics component (collect, create, update, crosscheck) Support/advice Engineering design and Industrial teams from a technical standpoint about Electronics component Contribute to obsolescence monitoring of electronic component and function All these activities are performed under the governance of a central team. involved in data and lifecycle management of Electronic component/function for all Alstom. . CCSS : Central Component Shared Service. RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibility of the candidate will be to : Create and update Electronics Part through dedicated Components database (CLAMP/ Orchestra) Support / advice Engineering design and Industrial teams from a technical standpoint about Electronics component. Contribute to product lifecycle analysis (obsolescence) for Railways projects/products Declare/subscribe Electronic Component in dedicated monitoring database (specific Alstom & Market: IHS, Silicon Expert, ) Harmonize electronic parts/components properties in Alstom database (CLAMP/ Orchestra, PLM, ERP) Update Reach data Material Declaration in Alstom Components database (CLAMP/ Orchestra) for all electronic component. Qualifications & Skills: Education & Experience 6 plus years exp rience Engineer/Technician (Electronic Component Engineer or equivalent) Skills required Desired Knowledge / Experience First experience in electronic design, or electronic industrialization with good knowledge in electronic components (application domain, materials, reliability, ...) Experience and knowledge of Railways standards applicable to components Working Experience in International network First experience in data management: Part or bom creation/update/enrichment with dedicated database/tools: ERP (SAP, ORACLE,), PLM (Enovia, Teamcenter, Agile,) Behavioural Skills / Competencies Good relationships (technical) with manufacturers / distributors of electronic components and with Industrial and Engineering teams on any Alstom sites involved in electronic business. Availability, rigorous, resilient Team spirit working English speaking mandatory Job location in Project Engineering Design office, has to travel to customer location/Lead Units as per the requirement.
