:Technical Expert - ElectromechanicalAbout the jobThe 3Phase business as part of Data Center Systems LOB is facing a significant and sustainable growth. The DCS team is expanding in India to meet the business growth demand and has established a state-of-the-art high power 3Phase R&D lab in Bangalore.We are looking for a Electromechanical technical expert in our 3 Phase PDU team who is passionate to work on all stages of product life cycle starting from Research and development to designing new products and systems, including 3D models, assembly drawings, and documentation of Sheet Metal Parts, fabricate parts with supplier of products related to 3Phase UPS, PDU and ancillaries based on the project/customer need.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop new products and product improvements, balancing innovative engineering design, functional requirements and aesthetic appeal with product safety, cost effectiveness, ease of manufacture, installation and maintainability.
• Create and maintain manufacturing drawings.
• Build and refine prototypes.
• Researching new materials, technologies, and processes to incorporate into designs
• Work in compliance with the company's engineering design rules and the product development process.
• Create and maintain product and project specifications.
• Ensure that development work adheres to the requirements of design specifications and other supporting documentation.
• Play an active role in projects, team meetings etc. Liaise with other cross functional team members, suppliers, customers throughout projects.
• Participate and where necessary lead design reviews, communicate ideas and solutions, influence decisions and problem solving.
• Validate and document design solutions ensuring they are robust and reliable by using relevant tools and techniques such as computerised 3D modelling, prototyping, FMEA, FEA, life testing, load testing etc. Evaluate outcomes and act as required.
• Perform a full lifecycle product development(Design,Develop,Test prototypes & Implement)
• Design Reliable/Robust systems and components that meet the end customer requirement adapting Agile methodology
• Optimizing mechanical design based on competing demands of performance, size, weight, cost, and time
• Ensuring designs meet regulatory compliance and qualification testing
• Co-ordinate with cross functional teams until the product delivery to the customer end
• Respond to the voice of customer, Perform root cause analysis to the issues raised from customer field and provide appropriate solution.
• Evaluate final product's overall performance, reliability and safety
• Estimate budget and scope of project
• Prepare product Specifications/mfg Drawings and release them in Windchill platform.
• Ensure the manufacturing feasibility, and maintenance requirements of designs - FEMA, FTA

Requirements and skills:xc2xb7 Proven working exp.(12 to 15 years) in Electro Mech Design(Metal/Busbar/Packaging parts etc)xc2xb7 Hands on exp. with product lifecycle management tools (PDM/PLM: Windchill/Symphony)xc2xb7 Proficiency in using Creo, AutoCAD or other softwaresxc2xb7 Preferred to have basic knowledge of Engg.analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanical or similar)xc2xb7 Strong verbal and written communication skillsxc2xb7 Good understanding of Engineering Change Management processxc2xb7 Good understanding of Basic Mechanical design parameter such as Dimensioning, tolerance, and material characteristics/ properties.xc2xb7 Excellent problem solving and time management skills.Qualification:BE/B Tech in Mechanical EngineeringExp : 17 to 18 YearsPrimary Location: Bangalore-KarnatakaSchedule: Full-time
