Job Description
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as Solidworks's electromechanical products design engineer (EV). As an electrical products Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical products systems for electric vehicles using Solidworks software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create designs and ensure industry standards and regulations. Your role will involve conducting feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, and optimizing electromechanical designs.Qualifications
- Graduate degree in engineering (Mechanical/related domains)
- 4-8 Years experience in Design Engineering for Electrical Products
- Work experience with electrical products (Batteries, cables, power distribution products, PCBA, etc.)
- Design and development of plastic/sheet metal parts, with an understanding of injection molds and press tools as an added advantage
- Experience in DFA/M of plastic, sheet metal, extruded parts, and knowledge of manufacturing/assembly processes
- Expertise in CAD software, Solidworks is a must Knowledge of PLM tool
- Location: Major OEM in Bangalore
